EXTRACT OF MEMORANDUM
OF ASSOCIATION OF THE LEGION OF FRONTIERSMEN VOLUNTEER RESERVE.
The company is established for:

(1)
The maintaining a strong and stimulating, united and democratic comradeship with those
serving in HM Forces, the various Metropolitan and County Constabularies, and Emergency services, and national, patriotic,
religious, philanthropic, charitable, scientific, artistic, social, professional, or sporting or the like.
(2)
To provide training towards forming a competent uniformed body of volunteers, that can
be called upon in times of emergency to render assistance. To aid members
of the general public at large whenever possible. To provide essential
information, independently, advocate, training in skills, and methods to volunteers.
To engage in partnership working with individuals, private, public institutions, national, regional, international
authorities and organisations, charitable trusts, foundation for the purpose of promoting the aims and the objects of the
company.
(3) To practice and develop semi-military
training as a recreation and education, and assist Military and Civil Authorities in every way possible in maintaining law
and order throughout the Realm.
(4) For such purposes as are recognised
by English Law as charitable and in furtherance of the after mentioned objects or otherwise.
A. In furtherance of the said objectives
but not otherwise the company may:-
1. Employ and pay any person or
persons to supervise, organise and carry on the work of the company and make all reasonable and necessary provision for the
payment of pensions and superannuation, to or on behalf of the employees and their widows and other dependants.
2. Bring together in conference
representatives of voluntary organisations, Government departments, statutory authorities and individuals; to establish and
support or aid in the establishment and support of any charitable institution, trust or fund and to subscribe or guarantee
money for any charitable purpose which the company shall consider calculated to promote its objects or any of them.
3. Promote
and carry out or assist in the promoting and carrying out research, surveys and investigations and publish useful results
thereof.
4. Arrange
and provide for or join in arranging and providing for the holding of exhibitions,
meetings, lectures, classes, seminars and training courses. To lawfully
sell by trade all or any item, the profit from such sale, or sales to be used for the furtherance of the objects or any part
thereof of the Company.
5. Collect and disseminate information
on all matters affecting the said objects and to exchange such information with other bodies having similar objects whether
in this country or overseas. To cause to be written, printed, or otherwise
reproduced and circulated, gratuitously or otherwise, such papers, books, periodicals, pamphlets, or other documents or films
or recorded tapes (whether audio or visual or both) as shall further the objects.
B. To solicit and procure by any
lawful means and to accept and receive any donation of property of any nature and any devise, legacy or annuity subscription,
contribution of fund for the purpose of promoting the Company’s objects or any of them, and to such purpose the capital
as well as the income of any such legacy, donation or fund.
C. To purchase, take on lease or in exchange, hire or otherwise acquire any real or personal property
or any estate or interest whatsoever, any rights, privileges, and easements over and in respect of any property which may
be considered necessary for the purpose of the Company.
